Resist Like Woods: Exhibition

In the forest no admission is charged, in the forest no face masks are worn, in the forest there is no air conditioning, in the forest no architecture is built for exhibits, in the forest there are no descriptions, in the forest exhibitions are for all who are able to walk, see, touch, taste, in the forest there is a little speech and less reading, in the forest birds sing, in the forests twigs crack beneath our feet, in the forest the audience forgets about time, in the forest there are no opening hours, in the forest no light bulbs are changed, in the forest there are no security guards, in the forest curators and artists hide behind trees, and works of art commune with roebuck, wild boar, hares, hedgehogs, insects, tree stumps, moss, trees, branches, ferns, grass, bracken, pine cones, roots, mushrooms and toadstools. Art belongs to the forest and the forest to art, enabling us to believe together in something that has been lost and that we have driven out of our white boxes.
