Skautský institut v Rybárně, U Sovových mlýnů, 118 00 Malá Strana
We invite you to the launch of the first edition of the children’s workbook with reading and workshops.
Dear Reader,
The first issue of the children’s workbook the Shell (Krunýř) is out now and we invite you to its launch!
It’s for all of you who are interested in others, whether they are people, animals, plants, mushrooms, fairy tale characters, or even things. A shell can be a place of shelter, a layer of defence that we build up, but also an umbrella under which we can be with others: a common shell from under which we can face various pitfalls and dangers or weave together dreams of a better world.
The launch of the workbook will take place on Sunday 29th January from 2.30 – 5.30 pm in Rybárna (Scout Institute) in Prague, Malá strana.
The baptism will include a reading of the fairy tale Little Red Riding Hood and the Blue Ball with its author Magdalena Šipka, a music workshop How to create a sound map with Marie Čtveráčková and drawing or otherwise finishing the workbook with its illustrator Kristina Fingerland.
The event is free of charge.
The first issue of the Shell focuses on awakening to interspeciesism. Thank you to everyone who contributed*y to this issue and we invite you to enjoy thinking, creating, dreaming, working and wandering with the notebook, to not be afraid to get it dirty and to let it lead you to many encounters and adventures.
