Natural Gardening Workshop
A workshop focused on natural gardening, led by lecturer and creator of natural gardens Petra Formánková and natural gardener Jarmila Řezníčková.

Woods invite you to an afternoon workshop focused on natural gardening, led by lecturer and creator of natural gardens Petra Formánková and natural gardener Jarmila Řezníčková. The practical workshop is intended for both advanced and beginners, children and adults and will introduce, for example, methods for mulching, companion planting, the use of biochar and general possibilities of applying permaculture principles in land care.
Bring warm clothes, rubber boots and work gloves as well as a snack. If you do not travel far and have the possibility, bring a pitchfork or rake.

The workshop is part of a working weekend on the plot (Saturday, November 6 – Sunday, November 7), during which we will mulch trees, plant shrubs, cut grass and prepare a hayloft for goats. About the facilitators:
Petra Formánková and Jarmila Řezníčková have been running the Dobromysl Garden
since January 2020, when it was established by the Rychnov association Splav as a therapeutic garden. In 2020 and 2021, the a garden therapy project took place here for handicapped and socially disadvantaged people. Apart from that, the garden hosts educational and training seminars on natural gardening. Petra Formánková also certifies natural gardens under the association Natural Gardens v.s.
